The roller is made of strong cast iron to achieve maximum rigidity. The length of the roller is 150 mm, which is significantly wider than most rollers and provides additional space for a large flat rolling area as well as 11 wire grooves. Each roller is induction hardened to a hardness of 64 RC. The maximum thickness for rolling sheet metal is 6 mm.

The 11 grooves of the square-shaped wire vary from 8 mm to 1 mm.

Maintenance-free bearings are protected by a plastic cover, which protects the rollers that are essential for a perfect surface finish. The roller also includes four semi-circular side extensions with sizes of 4, 3, 2, and 1.5 mm. This roller also features a gearbox with a 5:1 gear ratio, ensuring smooth power on every turn.
